Sahakar Group Limited (SGL) is one of the largest players in toll collection of roads in India.
The Company has a footprint across 13 states and has executed more than 200 tolling projects.
Its major clients include the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) and Public Works Departments (PWDs) of various states.
SGL was founded in 1996 by Mr Kishore Agrawal, a first generation entrepreneur, to leverage the opportunities resulting from the Government’s privatisation drive.
The Company began its operations with octroi collection for Municipal Councils around Mumbai and steadily expanded to other Municipal Corporations in the state of Maharashtra.
The Company bagged its first road toll collection project for NHAI in 2011. Since then, it has rapidly expanded its project portfolio and increased its NHAI from Rs 30 Crore in FY2011-12 to Rs 2,700+ Crore in FY2022-23.

SGL has presence across the key states of Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Haryana, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Tamil Nadu.
Integrated & Secured Business Model
SGL is engaged in the business collecting user fee or toll on highway projects of the NHAI and state agencies. With an employee base of over 4000, the Company has in-house expertise in conducting traffic study and micro market research, forecasting traffic, e-bidding for toll collection contracts and managing toll plazas.

In FY2022-23, SGL managed over 57 toll plazas generating revenue of Rs 2,700+ Crore. It is the largest toll contractor for the NHAI accounting for about 16% of NHAI’s toll revenue.

Mr. Kishore Agrawal, CMD & Chairman
Mr. Kishore Agrawal is an entrepreneur and founder of SGL and has been instrumental in growing the Company over the last 25 years. He is an engineering graduate in Electronics.
Mr. Karan Agrawal, Executive Director
Mr. Karan Agrawal is MBA, Internal Business from University of Greenwich, London and is actively associated with Planning and Business Development of the Company.
Mr. Pranay Agrawal, Executive Director
Mr. Pranay Agrawal in an Engineer from Mumbai University and is actively associated with Bidding and Business Operations.
Mr. Bhairav Desai, CFO
Mr. Bhairav Desai is Management Graduate from the Mumbai University and has a vast experience of 29 years in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Debt Syndication and was earlier associated with Bharat Bijlee Limited, Enercon India Limited, Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited etc.
Mr. Sanjog Chavan, Head Operations
Mr. Sanjog Chavan has a vast experience of 24 years in handling various aspects of operations. He is associated with the Company since its inception. Currently he is heading the pan India operations of the Company.
